Custom home builders in Brisbane
Nailed It Creations builds custom new homes across Brisbane, designed around how you live and managed from concept to handover. We are a QBCC licensed, family-owned builder. Nothing is off a project-home plan, and you deal with the people building it the whole way through.
A home built around you, not off a plan
A custom home is the difference between living in a house that nearly fits and one that is shaped around how your family actually lives. Orientation, light, storage and flow are designed for your block and your life.
We manage the full build, the design, engineering, certification, construction and handover, as one accountable team. No volume-builder call centres, just the people doing the work.

How much does it cost to build a custom home in Brisbane?
Custom homes in Brisbane generally start around $2,500 to $4,000 per square metre, so most sit above project-home pricing because nothing is off the shelf.
Site conditions, size, design complexity and finishes all move the number. After a consultation and concept, we give you a fixed scope so you are comparing real figures, not a vague per-metre rate.

The things Brisbane homeowners ask us most. Anything else, get in touch.
How much does it cost to build a custom home in Brisbane?
As a guide, custom homes in Brisbane generally start around $2,500 to $4,000 per square metre and rise with site conditions, size, design and finishes. Because nothing is off a project-home plan, most custom builds sit above volume-builder pricing. We give you a fixed scope after a concept stage.
How long does a custom home take to build?
Most custom homes take roughly nine to fourteen months on site, with design and approvals before that. The timeline depends on size, site and complexity, and we map it out clearly before construction starts.
How do I choose a custom home builder?
Look for the right licence, real completed work you can see, a clear process and a fixed scope before you commit. We are QBCC licensed (15097104), family-owned since 2013, and you deal with the people actually building your home.
Can you build on a sloping or difficult block?
Yes. Sloping and tight Brisbane blocks are common, and we handle the engineering and design needed to build on them well, rather than forcing a flat-block plan onto a site that does not suit it.
Do you do knockdown rebuilds?
Yes. If you love your location but the existing home is past its best, a knockdown rebuild lets you stay put with a brand-new home. See our knockdown rebuild page for how that works.
What should I ask a builder before signing a contract?
Ask what is fixed and what is an allowance, how prime cost and provisional sum items are handled, what the licence and insurance actually cover, and what happens when the scope changes. A builder who has done real quantity take-offs can answer all of that in specifics. One who has priced an undefined scope usually cannot.
